Urgent care refers to the medical treatment of non-emergent conditions, including a full range of illnesses and injuries that need prompt attention, but are not life-threatening if not treated immediately. Sprained ankle? Insect bite? Minor cuts and burns? Wilson Urgent Care may be the answer for illnesses or injuries that need care when your family physician is unavailable after hours or has a full patient schedule.

When you’re sick or injured, you really don’t want to wait for care. Wilson Urgent Care is committed to providing quality medical care without the long waits you might experience in the emergency room. You don’t need an appointment at Wilson Urgent Care – walk-ins are welcome. We treat patients 6 months and older.

Urgent Care Emergency Care

The following conditions require prompt attention, but are not medical emergencies

  • Colds & Fever
  • Influenze, Sinus Infection
  • Stomachache, Earache
  • Diarrhea, Vomiting
  • Urinary Tract Infection
  • Minor Cuts, Burns & Rashes
  • Sprains
  • Insect bites

The following are emergencies that require immediate medical attention to prevent death or permanent injury

  • Chest Pains
  • Severe Pain
  • Uncontrolled Bleeding
  • Serious Eye Injury
  • Broken Bones
  • Sudden paralysis or slurred speech
  • Shortness of breath
  • Seizure or loss of consciousness
  • Poisoning or drug overdose
  • Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg (especially on one side of the body)
