Throughout the year, Wilson's DiabetesWellnessCenter offers an educational series titled Diabetes 101: Uncovering Common Myths and Misconceptions. The classes provide a complete overview for the person with diabetes who is newly diagnosed or who needs an update on current information. The series will also address common misconceptions about the disease, the signs and symptoms and diagnosis, as well as an in-depth look at the different types of diabetes.
The cost to attend the series is $20.

Dr. Robert Buynak is the author of“1-2-3 Diabetes Diet.”He has performed extensive research on weight management and diabetes.Dr. Buynak’s method of meal planning for diabetics is straight-forward and simple for everyday life. His book will also be available.
