Smoking Cessation Classes

Wilson Memorial Hospital offers FREE smoking cessation classes to the public. Wilson has partnered with the American Lung Association and implemented a Freedom From Smoking ® program designed to help those individuals who wish to quite smoking. The goal of this program is to educate smokers about the addictive properties of cigarettes and chewing tobacco, and offer ways to help eliminate the addiction.

Wilson's certified tobacco treatment specialist and cessation counselors will help smokers develop a plan of action that weans them off the habit both physically and psychologically. Each session consists of eight classes that meet once a week.

Classes are offered on a consistent basis throughout the year. For more information, or to register for a class, call Mary Moeller, Certified Smoking Cessation Instructor, at 937-498-5400 or e-mail her at mmoeller@wilsonhospital.com.
